The Trustees welcome applications from parishes and institutions for grants from the unrestricted funds of the Charity and from its restricted and designated funds.

Applicants will need to show how their application will further catholic life and practice in the Church of England (as defined in the Fidelity Trust Act 1977).

Please note that grants from unrestricted funds will not normally exceed £20,000.

Application deadlines for 2026 are:

  • 28 February
  • 5 June
  • 9 October

The Trustees have adopted Criteria by which they will be guided in making grants.

Application should be made on the Application Form, which should be sent to the Clerk by email together with

  • a copy of the parish or institution’s audited annual accounts for the last financial year;

  • a copy of its last annual report;

  • its budget for the current year; and

any additional information needed to support the application. Applications that are submitted without the annual accounts, annual report and budget will not be considered by the Trustees.
